Come meet Maria Martin of Martin Family Cigars. We’ll be featuring their inaugural brands, the Gold, Ruby, and Corojo series, all original blends of the legendary Pedro Martin. Pedro, who passed away last year, was a renowned figure in the cigar industry for over 70 years.
Originally from Cuba, Pedro began his career working in the family tobacco fields, and then at his father’s cigar factory until they were forced off their land by the Cuban revolution. Migrating to the United States, Pedro continued working in the cigar industry, until starting his own company in 1978, and quickly became respected for his expert blending and cigar making.
For 18 years, Maria Martin worked with her father, learning everything from the “Master”, until the company was sold. From there, Maria joined Camacho, where she remained for 8 years, until forming the Martin Family of Cigars.
On Thursday, you will have the opportunity to smoke all of Pedro’s blends. They range in strength from medium to full bodied, and are affordable for your every day smoking budget!
